Since 1990, the world has lost 420 million hectares.
If forests are cleared, or even disturbed, they release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.
Forest loss and damage is the cause of around 10% of global warming.
As much as 80% of the world's forests have been destroyed or irreparably degraded by human beings.

The seas are overheating, the earth is scared and scorched, wildlife is disappearing...... Work in Progress.
